Newmachar Community First Responders will, on a rota basis, supply the rapid response that is so vital to survival. The First Responders will bridge the gap between the onset of the heart attack and the arrival of the Scottish Ambulance Service. Once an Ambulance Paramedic is despatched, a call will also be placed to activate the local First Responder who will often be first on scene to deliver vital early life saving skills. |
